With the digestive organs removed from the male frog, we can see the spleen, kidneys and reproductive organs. We can now see the dorsal body wall and the organs which are closest to it. The small, round reddish organ which we can see is the spleen. The pair of elongated brownish colored organs, which lie on the dorsal body wall, are the kidneys. In a male frog, the testes are tan colored, bean shaped organs.
